Integrate a high coded switch into your tGard solution

Integrate a high coded contactless RFID safety switch into your configuration to immediately achieve Cat. 4 / PLe. This safety sensor can also be used stand-alone with and without controls.

Fortress Safety now offers the possibility to add a high-coded non-contact safety sensor to your configuration of tGard modular safety switches.

tGard offers the possibility to configure your safety solution in one aluminium housing. Choose from over 50 different modules including push buttons, emergency stops, safety keys, emergency releases and various door closings.

By adding a highly coded sensor (according to EN 14119) it is now possible to make a tGard configuration suitable for PLe, (EN/ISO 13849-1) Cat. 4 applications. The sensor provides mechanical redundancy whereby failure of the tongue/actuator will not cause the loss of the safety function.

The modular design of tGard also makes it possible to configure a stand-alone safety switch with and without access request, reset and emergency stop.
