Why use a gatebox?
Control units also called gate boxes are housings with push buttons, switches or an emergency stop for machine control.
Control units get delivered fully equipped, you only have to select the necessary elements and these will get delivered wired in an aluminium or stainless steel housing with a plug connection.

tGard aluminium gatebox
tGard offers the option to assemble a cost-effective, pre-wired push-button station in an aluminium IP65 housing.
Select the required pushbuttons, selector switches, key switches and/or emergency stops easily via the configurator. The assembly is delivered in a pre-wired 40mm wide aluminium housing with one connection.

ProNet coated steel gate boxes
The amGard ProNet control units are ideal for controlling conventional safety components such as light curtains, safety switches or an emergency stop via ProfiNet Ethernet.
The amGard ProfiSafe or CIP Safety controlled gate boxes can be provided with 3 safety addresses for connecting conventional safety components.

In addition to integrating request and reset in a stainless steel safety switch, amGard S40 also makes it possible to make push-button boxes in an IP69K stainless steel 316 housing. This durable rugged solution is ideal for use in food processing, pharmaceuticals or in corrosive environments.

Imperium safety gate box with electronic access control
The Imperium Control Station from Mechan Controls sets a new standard in machine safety. This compact and user-friendly safety push button station integrates control functions (Start, Stop, Reset and Emergency Stop) with an electronic tag-in/tag-out system for operator access management.
With uniquely coded Fob Keys, the system ensures that machinery cannot be restarted until all operators have safely exited the hazardous area. Its robust 40 mm aluminium housing is available as a pre-wired safety push button station or with a quick disconnect connector, enabling fast and cost-effective installation. Fully compliant with EN 14118 and EN 14119, Imperium offers a reliable alternative to traditional key exchange and lockout systems.
