Louis hygienic heavy duty INOX safety lock

The Louis HGL lockable stainless steel safety switches are the 3-A certified solution for use in sterile hygienic production environments.

The HGL has an open design to maximise access for cleaning and minimise bacterial growth. With an IP67 & IP69 protection rating and FDA & USDA approved PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) seals between stainless steel components, the HGL is the safety solution for open plant cleaning and CIP (Clean in Place) processes.

This very compact HGL safety switch is equipped with OSSD contacts and offers the choice of an M12 5pin or an 8pin plug connection, it is also suitable for use in EN ISO 13849-1, Category 4, PLe (SIL3) applications and is 3rd party approved by TÜV SUD.

Hygienic mounting

The HGL safe door locking system is supplied with stainless steel mounting sleeves, which allow for distance from the mounting surface for better cleaning.

All materials are suitable for withstanding chemical cleaning and guarantee a high protection class (IP67 and IP69K0).

3-A Certification

The HGL has an open design for easy cleaning that minimises the risk of bacterial growth.

By choosing a polished full stainless steel 316 housing and PBT seals, this safety interlock is ideal for use in the food production and pharmaceutical industries.

High-coded

Because the HGL safe stainless steel door lock is equipped with a high coded RFID safety switch, it can be used as a high coded interlock according to EN 14119.

Flexible operating tongue

The ball-shaped actuator/operator tongue of the HGL safety interlock is flexible and allows installation even on poorly aligned doors or shutters.

With a maximum locking force of 7500N, it is suitable for the harshest industrial conditions.

OSSD contacts

HGL hygienic stainless steel safety switches are equipped with OSSD contacts and 2 pieces of M12 5-pin plug connectors, so that they can easily be placed in series (daisy-chain) without the loss of the safety function.
