Proton compact medium duty safety interlock met RFID

De PROTON R-Type is an advanced Solenoid Interlock: The PROTON uses an advanced solenoïde-interlocksystem which works with “power to unlock”. This unlocks the latch when power is applied.

The PROTON features a powerful locking mechanism that can withstand a holding force of 2000N. This ensures safe and reliable operation even under heavy loads.

The PROTON is suitable for use in EN ISO 13849-1, Category 4, PLe (SIL3) applications and is 3rd party approved by TÜV SUD.

Safety relay or PLC

Each switch contains 2 normally open and 1 normally closed output intended to be connected to a Mechan Safety Relay (SRL-1 or EM1 & ESM) or a Safety PLC.

Uniquely coded RFID

The failsafe design includes a uniquely coded RFID signal (4 billion codes). The Proton operates only when both the control button and the RFID signal are compliant.

High alignment tolerance

The actuator ensures that the Proton excels in tolerance for inaccurate alignment (15mm).
